Rainbow Covenant Forms Due Jan 31st
2015 Rainbow Covenant Reports are due to Rev. Daniel Collins, District Mission Secretary, by January 31. Email your completed form to him at firstname.lastname@example.org or mail to him at 1595 North Moore Road, Robbins, NC 27325.
Contributions must be received by the NCC Treasurer’s Office no later than January 31, 2016 to be accepted as a 2015 offering. Click on 2015 Rainbow Covenant Report to open and print the reporting form. To be a Rainbow Covenant Church, a local church needs to meet the “first mile” by paying 100 % of apportionments set by the NC Annual Conference. Then each local church must support at least one project in each of the five lanes of the Rainbow Covenant: Persons in Mission, NCC Advance Missions, National Missions, World Missions, and UMCOR. The six Special Sunday offerings are not included. For more information, see the Rainbow Covenant website.

“Going to the Principal’s Office”
Join Pastors Lindsay Collins (Pleasant Hill/Robbins) and Jim Whittaker (Meroney/Bear Creek) as we make that first call/contact with area public school principals. Join the “Going to the Principal’s Office” breakout session at the upcoming “Celebrating Connections: Congregations and Communities” mission rally on February 28, 2016 @ Jonesboro UMC from 3-4:45 pm. Following a time of worship with Holy Communion; guest speaker, Mike Ward; and musical leadership of Bruce Smith and the Genesis UMC Praise Team, participants will be invited to one of six 30-minute breakout sessions.
Share the stories and incredible ways we can and are making a difference in our communities through our public schools. We enter at the invitation of the principal. We help fulfill the hopes, dreams and visions of local school administrators AND we impact the lives of children, youth and educators in our midst by our eagerness to be outreaching C4C church families. This is a year of new beginnings and, YOU can be part of the action as we serve locally. ”Let’s go to the principal’s office!”
Contact Elaine Lilliston @ email@example.com or 919-567-9427 to become a C4 C church family and to make a difference in the life of our communities in 2016 as we creatively respond to the needs of our public schools.
