“Download Youth Ministry each year host a National Day of Volunteer Youth Ministry training that churches all across the nation sign up to host people to attend. It cost like $150 for you to register and bring anyone on your youth ministry church team to be trained. It is on Sept. 18 from 9 am to 12 pm, and I just recently signed up to host this event at Southern Pines UMC.

Head to https://trainmyvolunteers.com/ and click on “Register Today.” This will then populate a map of all the training locations. Find “Southern Pines UMC” on the map, click “Register” and then fill out the appropriate info. Only $150 and you can bring your entire team for Youth Ministry Training. A Light breakfast will be served. It is a Ted-Talk style event, where speakers speak for around 8 to 12 minutes, and then there is table discussion and such. We are recommending people wear a mask. We will be meeting in our Fellowship Hall which is quite a large room and will allow for plenty of space to social distance and spread out at tables and chairs.
